When purchasing stainless steel gate valves, select specifications according to parameters including nominal diameter, pressure and temperature. As for material selection, stainless steel is preferred if the budget permits. For special media containing chloride ions, 316L stainless steel shall be specified. Actuators may be manual, electric or pneumatic based on application requirements. In addition, confirm that the valve has passed pressure testing and complies with applicable standards.
1.Handwheels, handles and transmission mechanisms shall not be used for lifting, and impacts are strictly prohibited.
2.Double-gate valves shall be installed vertically (i.e., the valve stem remains vertical, with the handwheel on the top).
3.For gate valves equipped with bypass valves, open the bypass valve first to balance the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet and reduce the operating torque required for opening.
4.Gate valves fitted with transmission mechanisms shall be installed in accordance with the product instruction manual.
5.For valves subject to frequent opening and closing, lubrication shall be performed at least once a month.
