1.Before installation, carefully verify that the valve model and specifications conform to the design requirements.
2.Check whether the valve is compatible with service conditions in accordance with its model and the manufacturer's instructions.
3.When hoisting valves, slings shall be attached to the flange joint between the valve body and bonnet, not to the handwheel or valve stem, to prevent damage.
4.For valves installed on horizontal pipelines, the valve stem shall be oriented vertically upward; stem-down installation is prohibited.
5.Do not pull or drag valves forcibly during installation, as uneven stress may cause damage.
6.Rising-stem gate valves shall not be installed in damp underground environments to avoid stem corrosion.
