Q: How should the 2PC Ball Valve MF be maintained and serviced?

A:

  • For long-term storage, operate the valve (open and close) once every six months to verify proper functionality.
  • Valves should be stored indoors in a dry and ventilated environment. The valve should remain in the fully closed position, and both ends must be sealed with protective covers. Avoid collision or impact during handling and installation.
  • Use the valve only within the specified medium and temperature range. Do not exceed the designated operating parameters.
  • To extend service life, operate the valve only in fully open or fully closed positions. It is not intended for flow regulation.
  • Apply external anti-corrosion treatment every one to two years, depending on the installation environment.
  • Inspect and service actuator performance annually. If key technical specifications show significant degradation, replace the actuator before further use.
