1.Stainless steel pipe fittings are generally regarded as primary materials. Within piping systems, fittings perform a critical function: they withstand pressure and loads and directly impact system performance and safety. Particularly in chemical and medical applications, stainless steel fittings are indispensable primary components thanks to their corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. These fittings include elbows, tees, caps, flanges and more. Together with stainless steel pipes, they form a complete conveying system to guarantee safe media transport.

2.That said, under certain circumstances, some small individual fittings (such as stainless steel threaded fittings) may be categorized as secondary materials, as their main purpose is auxiliary connection and fixing. Overall, however, stainless steel pipe fittings are accounted for and managed as primary materials in most projects.
