Product Introduction
A stainless steel gate valve is a linear motion isolation valve. Its closing member is a gate that moves vertically along the seat centerline via the stem, opening or closing the flow path. When fully open, the valve provides an unobstructed flow path with minimal pressure loss. Depending on the structure, it can be classified as outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) or non-rising stem (NRS) . It is not recommended for throttling and should only be used in fully open or fully closed positions.
